During Design Week in Miami, Louis Vuitton opened the doors to its second freestanding menswear boutique in the heart of the Miami Design District. The façade of the building is an architectural rework of the pattern of the Diamond Screen, designed by Marcel Wanders for the brand’s interior collection, Objets Nomades. The Diamond Screen features intricate modules, each a small masterpiece of leather craft comprising eight pieces of Nomade leather. These modules are held together by brass clips reminiscent of the House’s handbag clasps. For the Diamond façade, this design and the emblematic Louis Vuitton monogram are reinterpreted, paying tribute to Miami’s modernist architectural style.
