What was once lovingly featured overhead as plaster ceiling design has since fallen out of style within modern architecture. Trends, however, have never swayed or directed the studio of Marcel Wanders. Holding a place for this traditional design motif in his heart, Marcel Wanders rescues this everlasting and enchanting typology from oblivion by designing a lamp where his beloved plaster ceiling finds its secret place. This three-dimensional bouquet of evergreen fresh flowers is a secret garden that gently hides itself in geometric minimalism. A humble spherical object from afar, adapting to the dogma of modern architecture, blending in, its disruptive power only then appears when you go near and invite your friends to share the table intimately. Only when sitting down will the romantic landscape reveal itself. There are always fresh flowers on the table.
